Remarks

“M” on the reverse of the sketch likely refers to Margaret Thomson (later Tweedale) since she made a new list of the Thomson works in the estate when she took over its handling from Elizabeth Thomson Harkness, c. 1931. This work would have been no. 261 on her list.
