Remarks
Note the pin holes in the corners as in Dawn on Round Lake [Kawawaymog Lake], Fall 1915 (1915.115), Aura Lee Lake, Spring 1916 (1916.55) and Algonquin Evening, Fall 1916 (1916.106). Perhaps Thomson’s work was hung using pins in an early show.
