Remarks
The work was primed with grey oil paint (Sandra Webster-Cook, April 18, 2001); it also has been titled Seal Rock, Georgian Bay. In 2012, Joan Murray observed that the inscriptions on the verso in graphite have practically vanished and the Dominion Gallery label has been removed.
